Walt had helped his son Brent purchase an investment property a number of years ago… and when it was time to sell that property, so Brent’s family could purchase a new home, they put a “For Sale by Owner” sign in their front yard. Like many homeowners, they wanted a simple, honest, no-hassle sale.
